My Flower Obsession!
I guess some of you already know, that I have a huge obsession of taking pictures of flowers of any kind. While being in Oulu for holidays my sweetheart took me to the Botanic Garden of the University of Oulu. They also had a green house with tropic and subtropic plants and I was in heaven. I took so many pictures, we had to go there twice. There was just not enough space on my memory card for just one visit.
Here are a few of my favorite pictures. All pictures of my Oulu holidays and the Botanic Garden can be found in my here.

Holidays in Oulu, Finland
Right after coming home from Germany, my sweetheart and I went on to Oulu in Northern Finland to make some visits at his hometown too. For me it was the first time being in Oulu at all. Luckily the weather was way better. We had lots of sunshine.
Here are the pictures of our holidays part 2:
Oulu is located directly by the sea

Are you affraid of the Police?
The police man statue at the market square, Tuomiokirkko and Oulu's water tower

The City Hall and an old wooden house on Pikisaari

Holidays in Germany
After being almost 2 years away, I went this year back to my hometown in Germany to visit Friends and Family. Unfortunately the weather was everything but nice. It was raining all day long for the entire time of our stay.
But anyways I took some pictures of my childhood playgrounds and my hometowns nature. And here they are:
The Water Mill lake and tree roots at the Motte "Alde Berg", a historical hill used for defending in the past.

Some really odd looking roots

The ruins of the old Raky Castle at the Raky lake and the haunted witch tower.

Almost Christmas!
It is only about 4 month until it is Christmas again.Time to start making some Christmas presents.
This project I started is going to be a small tablecloth for my future mother in law. The fields will be field out with 4 different kind of Christmas trees in red and green.

This is a closeup of the first tree I stitched. I love the simplicity of this design so much. I stitched once just the trees and made greeting cards out of it. But this time it has be the hole table cloth.
