Quaker style ewe

Again I needed a quick project that can be finished up fast. Lately I have trouble finding the motivation on stitching on any of my SAL projects. It might has to do with the start of the dark season. In Finland finally winter arrived. It is snowing already for a couple of days and today it got a bit stormy too. But also we have quite a lack of daylight, what makes it difficult for me stitching on my one over one SAL. So I picked something small again. This Quaker inspired sheep is a design from Aury and is available on her homepage Acerca del Borado. I downloaded the sheep already a while ago, as well as all the other Quaker Style Animals on her page. I just love them so much. Now that the first one is done, the others will follow soon.

Fair & Square

Look what has been in the mail today. The round #1o squares from Gillie arrived they are both beautiful. These squares will get a special place. I will cover the lid of a little wooden box with them and than place it on my desk for all the little stuff always laying around.
Thank you so much Gillie!

Fall Depression

Do you know those days were you are hanging around in your PJ all day long. Lounging on the couch, being bored for no reason but also don't get the motivation for doing something? That's what hit me today. I kind of blame it on the bad weather here in Finland. It isn't fall anymore but not yet winter. It is dark, cold and rainy. So while whining about myself my lovely DH-to-be caught me in this picture.

I think it is hilarious and made me really laugh about myself. So finally I got my boody up and did some stitching, though I wasn't in the mood at all for any of my SAL stitching (they take for ever to finish). I started something small and fast to finish to cheer myself up.

I picked this lovely Christmas pattern from Prairie Schooler which is their latest freebie. I have no idea yet how to finish it up, probably I make a Christmas greeting card.

Totales Mystery part 16

Time to show you again something from the Mystery Sampler I am stitching in one of my Yahoo stitching groups. Round 16 is stitched up and while checking my emails this morning, I saw that round 17 already arrived. I'm very excited about this round, because we are getting to stitch now some of the corner pieces.
Alright, I'm off for stitching now.

Paradiesvogel

The "Paradiesvogel" from Kissy-Cross, which has been one of my November goals is stitched up. I changed some of the colors. The original colors where hard the see on the fabric I have chosen.

This is already the second piece I stitched by this Designer. It is a freebie and can be found Kissy-Cross's homepage. There are also many other beautiful designs more, as well in December is starting a brand new Sampler SAL. It's worth taking a look.

Square for Gillie

I got a note today that Gillie received my square, so finally I can post a picture of them without spoiling the surprise.
This is the first Round that I am stitching in the Fair & Square Exchange Group and I was so excited about it, that I started stitching the very first day the partners have been announced.

The pattern I have chosen is from Tantes Zolder and can be downloaded on there homepage, as well as many other beautiful sampler pattern more.
